Two exciting permanent positions for enthusiastic and motivated individuals have arisen within our Cardiac Service Teams at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The posts are offered as full or part time with negotiable flexible hours.
The band 5 Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Professional will be based in North & East Cornwall and will be required to deliver formal cardiac rehabilitation exercise and lifestyle programmes in a variety of community settings and modes of delivery such as online groups and the use of the MyHeart app to all risk stratifications of patients with cardiac diagnoses and co-morbidities.
The band 6 Cardiac Rehabilitation Physiotherapist Specialist /Exercise Specialist (Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist or Exercise Instructor) will be based in Mid Cornwall and will be required to deliver formal cardiac rehabilitation exercise and lifestyle programmes in a variety of community settings and modes of delivery to all risk stratifications of patients with cardiac diagnoses and co-morbidities. You will deliver and develop high quality cardiac rehabilitation exercise programmes for patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions through formal cardiac rehabilitation exercise classes, home-based, online classes and clinic-based exercise programmes, working in a variety of settings including community hospitals, leisure centres and other community venues and patients’ homes.
Successful candidates will have the experience, clinical knowledge and skills, communication and people skills required to enjoy working as an effective member of our multidisciplinary team.
Post holders will be supported with their personal and professional development and funding for relevant BACPR courses would be available as required.
