A fantastic opportunity has opened for an ambitious, dynamic, and enthusiastic Exercise Practitioner to join the Cardiovascular Health and Rehabilitation Team at UCH.
At UCH the Cardiovascular Health Rehabilitation service is in a privileged position to be working from a dedicated centre with clinical rooms, office space and a bespoke rehabilitation gymnasium available 5 days per week.

Main duties of the job


This post has a strong health promotion focus and requires a skilled and motivated clinician with a breadth of experience in patient assessment and exercise prescription across a range of chronic health conditions. The successful candidate will join an existing team and be responsible for supervising and mentoring the Band 5 Exercise Instructors through their career development.
The post holder will be expected to provide support to patients, their carers and members of the Cardiovascular Health and Rehabilitation staff by contributing to education aiming to raise understanding of Cardiovascular Disease and enable individuals to fully contribute to the management of their medical problems.
