In this seminar we will look at the role of nutrition in the development of established (and novel) risk factors for cardiovascular disease (CVD), consider whole diet approaches such as Mediterranean, DASH, low-carb and plant-based diet patterns in primary and secondary prevention, and use real cases to help attendees see how changes to lifestyle fit with the medical management of these conditions.
